Мехмед II, Мехмет II (Mehmet II) Фатих (Жеңүүчү) [30. 3. 1432, Эдирне – 3. 4 (же 3. 5). 1481, Гебзе] – 1444жана 1451–81-жылдары түрк султаны. Согуштук саясат жүргүзгөн. 1453-жылы Византияны талкалап, борбору Константинополду басып алып, Осмон империясынын борборуна айландырган. Сербияны (1459), Мореяны, Трапезунд империясын (1460–61), Боснияны (1463), Эвбея аралын (1471), Албанияны (1479), Крым хандыгын (1475) караткан. Армияга реформа жүргүзгөн, янычарларды ок атма куралдар менен куралдандырган. Мехмед IIнин учурунда Осмон империясынын алгачкы мыйзамдар жыйнагы түзүлгөн.
