I am studying a specific problem but I think to question is of more general form:
I have a dataset of different models of a product. All the models have the same components but every component of a product can be of a different brand. In the last column of the dataset I have the price of the model of the product (not of every component).
My idea is to get the importance (in terms of US$) of a specific brand of a components on the price of a model.
Somebody know of a model, literature, studies, etc, that can be helpful?
Thanks!

If you don't have any data on component price that is probably unlikely to be possible. But still, you you assume there is absolute no other influence on price other than components price you can model it as a linear system and try solving it
