Tottenham have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated teenage striker Tomas Pekhart from Slavia Prague.
The 16-year-old Czech Republic youth international was named his country's junior footballer of the year in 2005.
He will join Spurs on 1 July when, according to Slavia, he will sign a three-year contract.
Spurs sporting director Damien Comolli said: "Two other Premiership clubs were interested in Tomas and we are delighted he has agreed to join us."
Comolli added: "Tomas has the excellent combination of a strong physical presence, agility and technical ability.
"He is an exciting prospect for the future."
Slavia spokesman Alexander Kliment said: "Tottenham have been following Tomas for a long time. It is proof of our good work with talented young footballers."
